(Just Wanna Be A) Pot Roast

Take a listen to some early O.P. This is a picture of some of the swag we used to give out at our shows.

(JWBA) Pot Roast is the 3rd song on Squeez-A-Petey!, the Ointment Project’s seminal (and final) offering on vinyl. The Bo Diddley beat and the spoken word piece make this one of the best on the album!

Brain Damage wrote Pot Roast, but Boom Boom crowned it with his off-the-cuff spoken word piece. Here is the original, done by Boom Boom’s very hand. It can be viewed at the Smithsonian-like Ointment Project’s Museum of Modern Obscurities and Strange Inventions.

Brain Damage as the Monster, Boom Boom as the Pot Roast (in a bag!), Mad Dog as Baron Zip Von Liechtenstein. The skit was performed during the show called This Time For Sure. The Baron brings to life the Monster, and then announces he has transformed Boom Boom into a pot roast! At this time, he raises a dome on a table and there is Boom Boom’s head, as a pot roast, surrounded by veggies. As the music from the song begins, Boom stands up (!), lifting the table with him, and participates in the performance.
